James "Jim" Craddock, aka Gentleman Ghost, was a notorious highwayman during 19th century England where he made a deal with the demon Astaroth, whereby he would become immortal in exchange for ten human souls.Afterwards, Kanjar attempts to use a neutron bomb to vaporize all sapient life on Adam Strange's homeworld of Rann, so he can then use the empty planet as a base of operations to conquer the galaxy. Later, Kanjar attempts to blow up a planet solely for profit. Kanjar then uses the Scarab on himself, then uses the Blue Beetle suit to attempt to kill Batman. Upon meeting Jaime Reyes, the new Blue Beetle, Kanjar weakens Jaime with the Gamma Gong, forcefully extracting the Blue Beetle Scarab and imprisoning the boy. Kanjar harvested the Gibbles as a source of power, and murdered the first Blue Beetle using a Gamma Gong for trying to protect them.

Kanjar Ro is a power-hungry Space Pirate who has committed attempted mass murder on a planetary scale solely for the sake of profit.Cant Unhear It: You no doubt can hear Bat-Mite's words as Paul Reubens now thanks to this series.The self-referential moments in "Mitefall!" are either a perfect representations of what fans felt the show did right, or undeserved self-aggrandising.A lot of how you feel about the show is gonna depend on how you feel about The Silver Age of Comic Books this series is intended to be a throwback to, and how you feel about more lighthearted takes on Batman in general (which tends to be a nasty can of worms in its own right). The Lighter and Softer tone and Denser and Wackier humor is the show's most divisive aspect and is either considered by some to be refreshing to see after the more serious Batman adaptations in the past, with many finding the jokes to be hilarious, while others despise the lighthearted tone for not fitting with the idea that Batman should be dark and serious, on top of finding the humor to be obnoxious and annoying.
